Alchemy + Adobe

So I've been working in the ways of Alchemy. Im just starting to develop my technique with it and already im wanting to create my own module variations but thats another story. So far ive managed to start collecting images around the netz and learned alil illistrator trick to create shapes for alchemy by opening an image in adobe illustrator you can use the object > live trace > trace options to create a vertex image and save it as a pdf file (Which is what alchemy uses for shapes.) The only problem is it can only use alpha images like black and white from what i can tell and i wanna try and get it to use full color images spereated into color sections/shades then maybe add a modifier like the randomize but more fluid.
